From September 30 - October 2, 2013, the 6th Workshop on IT, Service, Innovation and Collaboration (WISIC) of the Department of Information Systems took place in Hofgeismar. During the three-day workshop, the doctoral students of the Department of Information Systems presented their dissertation projects. The individual dissertation topics covered the research areas of Service Engineering, Collaboration Engineering, IT Innovation Management, Crowdsourcing as well as Open Innovation. The presentations were followed by discussions in which the presenters received feedback from the audience on their dissertation projects. In addition, the PhD workshop included presentations on various research methods and their application in the context of business informatics.
