Eva Bittner successfully defended her dissertation entitled "Designing for Shared Understanding - How Collaboration Engineering can Improve Team Effectiveness of Heterogeneous Groups"on Wednesday, February 4, 2015.
Eva Bittner has been working at the Department of Information Systems since November 2010 and wrote her dissertation in the context of the BMBF-funded interdisciplinary research project "TANDEM". In essence, her work has focused on how to systematically support the development of shared understanding in heterogeneous groups through collaboration techniques and how to improve the transfer of experiential knowledge in age- and experience-diverse work groups through structured collaboration processes.

Subsequently, Philipp Bitzer also successfully defended his dissertation entitled "Design Principles for the Productive Delivery of Blended Learning Services" .
Philipp Bitzer conducted research at the Department of Information Systems from March 2010 to April 2014 and wrote his dissertation in the context of the BMBF-funded interdisciplinary research project "ProduSE".
