The renowned weekly newspaper "DIE ZEIT" recently conducted an interview with Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister from the Department of Information Systems at the University of Kassel. The resulting statements on the topic of "crowdsourcing" appeared in an article published in "DIE ZEIT" on April 21, 2016 under the title "Die neuen Heimwerker".

The article describes in particular the trend towards "crowdwork" in many companies and its impact on the world of work. Clients (crowdsourcers) and contractors (crowdworkers) have their say in it, as do representatives of crowdsourcing platforms, crowdsourcing associations, trade unions, the self-employed, companies, administration and politics. Prof. Dr. Leimeister is the (only) representative from academia in this article.
