This year's"re:publica", one of the world's most important conferences on the topics of the digital society, will take place in Berlin from May 8 to 10, 2017. Since its beginnings in 2007 with 700 bloggers, this event has developed into a "society conference" with over 8,000 participants from 60 countries. Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister, Chairholder and Head of the Department of Business Informatics at the University of Kassel, was aninterview guest on the first day of re:publica   of various media as well as panelist of the discussion "Will we all soon be working in the cloud?". Together with Vanessa Barth (IG Metall) and Dorothea Utzt (streetspotr), current developments in the field of digitalization of society and the economy were discussed under the moderation of Andrea Schneider-Dörr (on behalf of the Hans Böckler Foundation) and questions regarding the   work of the future were discussed.
