On August 29, 2018, the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS)  event "The ILO in the Digital Age - Shaping the Future of Work" took place at Berlin . Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister, Head of the Department of Information Systems and Director of the Scientific Center for IT Design (ITeG) of the University of Kassel, participated as an invited expert in the topic of digitalization . The occasion was the upcoming 100th anniversary of the ILO (International Labor Organization) next year.

Professor Leimeister discussed the overall conclusion of the event together with former State Secretary and member of the 'Global Commission on the Future of Work' Thorsten Albrecht in a moderated discussion.
