At DESRIST (Design Science Research in Information Systems and Technology) in December 2020, the short paper contribution "Designing Effective Privacy Nudges in Digital Environments: A Design Science Research Approach" by Torben Jan Barev, Andreas Janson and Jan Marco Leimeister was awarded the Vinton G. Cerf Award.
The paper provides practical guidance for designing and implementing privacy nudges in the user interface of digital work systems. By incorporating privacy nudges, sensitive behavior with respect to privacy should be encouraged.
