The team of Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister from the Institute of Information Systems  presents a large number of papers at the "16th International Conference on Information Systems".

With nine papers (see list below) the chair of Prof. Jan Marco Leimeister is represented at WI2021 . In addition, several researchers were nominated for awards for their contributions.  Among others, the paper "Designing an Adaptive Empathy Learning Tool" by Thiemo Wambsganss, Florian Weber and Matthias Söllner  was nominated for the "Best Paper Award". In addition, Sascha Fuchs, Roman Rietsche, Stephan Aier and Michael Rivera were nominated with their paper "Is more always better? Simulating Feedback Exchange in Organizations" was nominated for the "Most Innovative Paper".

In addition, there were two nominees from the chair of Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister for the Best Reviewer Award. Thiemo Wambsganss was awarded Best Reviewer in the track "Data Science & Business Analytics" and Andreas Janson in the track "Human Computer Interaction".

The International Conference on Business Informatics is the largest annual business informatics conference in the German-speaking world, which has been held since 1993. From March 9 to 11, numerous publications from the fields of digitalization and IT will be presented in different tracks.
