In the June 12 ARD program plusminus, the topic of "crowd work" was discussed under the title "Digital Day Laborers" with, among other things, a short contribution by Prof. Leimeister. Crowd work refers to the mostly online-based work that individuals perform as part of a crowd in the context of crowdsourcing. The paper describes, among other things, how crowd work is practiced and the possible implications of it. The topics of crowdsourcing and crowd work are also among the main research areas of the Winfo Lehrestuhl.
