At the ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing (CHI) in early 2021, the paper by Thiemo Wambsganss (University of St Gallen), Tobias Küng (University of St Gallen),, Matthias Söllner (University of Kassel) and Jan Marco Leimeister (University of St Gallen and University of Kassel). about a chatbot called ArgueTutor was awarded the "ACM Honourable Mention Award".  

The ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI) is the most prestigious conference in the field of Human-Computer Interaction. It was to have been held in Japan this year, but was then held in virtual format from May 8 - 13, 2021.

In the paper "ArgueTutor: An Adaptive Dialog-Based Learning System for Argumentation Skills", the authors present an AI-based chatbot called ArgueTutor that helps students train their argumentation skills independent of lecturers, time and space.
