On June 20, 2023, the major conference of the BMBF funding guideline "Internet-based services" will take place in Kassel. Under the motto "Sustainably shaping data-oriented value creation" and organized by the Department of Information Systems at the University of Kassel around Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister and PD Dr. Christoph Peters, participants will discuss the future of data-oriented value creation and its sustainable design.

Highlights include:

• Pioneers present best practices, give impulses and share their experiences - concentrated in the focus areas of data and technology excellence as well as sustainability.
• The 13 projects of the BMBF funding guideline "Internet-based services" will present their project results and developed solutions - in the context of pitches and an exhibition.
• We offer space to get to know and exchange expertise and perspectives of all stakeholders needed to design sustainable innovation ecosystems for data-oriented value creation and corresponding transfer, including representatives of corporations, SMEs and start-ups, social partners, transfer institutions, and many more.
• We will discuss the future of service research in times of data-oriented value creation.
• After the event at the Campus Center, there will be the opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the highlights of the last documenta exhibitions, and a closing ceremony including an awards ceremony at the Orangerie will round off the day.

The closing conference consists of two parts. Part 1, the closing conference at the Campus Center of the University of Kassel, begins at 11:00 am and ends at 5:00 pm. There will be keynotes, highlights from three years of research, workshops, and a panel discussion on the future of service research. Part 2, the social program and closing ceremony at the Orangerie, starts at 5:45 p.m. with a brief tour of highlights from recent documenta exhibitions. Starting at 6:30 p.m., the evening event will take place.
