Dr. Jakob Kühler

Dr. Jakob Kühler is aresearch associate at the Department of Public Administration and Management at the University of Kassel. His research focuses primarily on administrative innovation and transformation in the context of digital technologies and the implementation of management methods in public organizations, such as agile approaches.

Previously, he was a research assistant at the University of Potsdam and the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Dr. Jakob Kühler completed his doctorate as part of the DFG project "DIGILOG", which examines the digital transformation of European municipalities on a comparative basis. His research has been published in the journals Public Administration, Information Polity and der moderne staat. He is a junior member of the VHB.

He completed his Master's degree at the University of Potsdam and his Bachelor's degree at the Universities of Münster and Twente in the Netherlands, both of which he completed with distinction. He gained practical experience at the Competence Center for Public IT at the Fraunhofer Institute FOKUS in Berlin.
