WISE @ ICIS 2022

Part of the WISE team presented and discussed their current research work at this year's International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) in Copenhagen, Denmark. ICIS is the world's largest conference on information systems and took place this year under the motto "Digitalization for the Next Generation" from 11 to 14 December.

During the conference, Prof. Matthias Söllner was presented with the AIS Award for "Innovation in Teaching", which recognizes the continuous use of innovative learning systems in several courses at various universities.

The following paper, which was written in collaboration with EPFL, was also presented:

Furthermore, the WISE team participated in the workshops "SIG Green - Green IS" and "SIG ED - Education". A paper entitled "Collaboration Engineering and Citizen Science for Mastering Sustainability Challenges" was presented at the SIG Green workshop. At the SIG ED workshop, the research group focused on emotion-adaptive systems that can contribute to the learning of so-called transferable skills (title of the presentation: "Emotion-Adaptive Learning Systems for Transferable Skill Learning").

In addition to the conference program, the WISIC team was able to explore Copenhagen and visit the local Christmas market.
