From July 3 to 9, this year's EAERE Summer School for young researchers on Behavioral Environmental Economics took place at Schloss Seggau in Austria. Our department was represented twice: Astrid Dannenberg gave two lectures for the PhD students and postdocs on the role of uncertainty and limits in cooperation problems and the institutions people choose to solve them. Eva Weingärtner participated together with Sophia Möller from the Department of Empirical Economics and young researchers from all over Europe and presented a paper on the influence of information and observability on dietary decisions. In addition to an excellent content program, the Summer School offered the opportunity for informal exchange between the young researchers and the established researchers, as well as an attractive social program including a hike through southern Styria.
