Theses

If you would like to write a thesis in our department in the winter semester 2025/2026, you must register with our department by 24 October 2025. You can contact us via e-mail for this purpose.

If you register after the deadline, your thesis will not be considered for the winter semester 2025/2026.

Please note the following for Master's theses: If you would like to write your Master's thesis with us, you should have successfully completed a lecture or seminar in our department so that you are familiar with our (research) topics.

Here you will find a schedule for the winter semester 2025/2026, which contains all important deadlines and dates for theses in our department.

If you would like to write a Bachelor or Master thesis at the Unit of Macroeconomics, please refer to our information on theses. 

Information on the formal design of a Bachelor's or Master's thesis can be found here (Note: The file is only available in the university network).

All other formal and, above all, content-related aspects should be discussed personally with the respective supervisor.

Please note that a new declaration of authorship must be signed by students for final theses in the BA Economics, MA Business Studies and MA EB&Go. This includes information on the use of AI. You can find the declaration of authorship here.
