If you would like to write a thesis in our department in the winter semester 2025/2026, you must register with our department by 24 October 2025. You can contact us via e-mail for this purpose.
If you register after the deadline, your thesis will not be considered for the winter semester 2025/2026.
Please note the following for Master's theses: If you would like to write your Master's thesis with us, you should have successfully completed a lecture or seminar in our department so that you are familiar with our (research) topics.

Prospective Bachelor’s and Master’s thesis students at the Unit of Macroeconomics are advised to review our information on thesis planning, in conjunction with the internal Guidelines for Bachelor's & Master's Theses.

All remaining questions regarding content or formal requirements should be clarified directly with the assigned supervisor.
Please note that students must sign and submit a declaration of authorship for all final theses in the BA Economics, MA Business Studies, and MA EB&Go programs. This declaration includes information regarding the use of AI, and can be accessed here.
