Max Fuchs presents "CBDC as Competitor for Bank Deposits and Cryptocurrencies" and takes up the topic of currency competition in his paper. The question is answered whether the central bank is able to keep the private payment service providers (cryptocurrencies, etc.) in check with the CBDC.
