- 2025 – 2026: Visiting Scholar at the Graduate School of Social Data Science, Hitotsubashi University, Kunitachi, Tokyo, Japan (SDS-Visiting Scholar, 客員研究員).

- 2023: Habilitation, awarded the teaching license (venia legendi) for public law and law of the digital society.

- 2014 - 2016: Researcher in the project Investigation of the mapping and analysis of the privacy arena (Privacy Arena).
- 2013: PhD on the topic "Legally compliant use of security measures in public transport".
- 2011 - 2014: Researcher in the project Security Impact Assessment Measures - A decision support system for security technologies (SIAM).
- 2010: Awarded a Master’s degree in “Master of German and Foreign Law” (Magister iuris).
- 2008: Obtained the “Certificate of Higher Education (English Law)” (LLCert) at the De Montfort Law School.
