Allgemeine Informationen

Der European Master in Business Studies ist ein Masterstudiengang, der aus vier Semestern in vier verschiedenen europäischen Ländern besteht (Trento/Italien, Annecy/Frankreich, León/Spanien und Kassel/Deutschland).

Die EMBS ist ein internationaler Studiengang für European Business Management, der sich an kleine Gruppen von Studierenden verschiedener Nationalitäten richtet.
Die Kurse werden in englischer Sprache von qualifizierten Lehrkräften und Managern aus europäischen Unternehmen gehalten.
Zugelassen sind alle Studierenden mit einem Bachelor in Economics and Management oder mit einem anderen Studienhintergrund, der einen Schwerpunkt in Economics and Management hat.
Die EMBS beginnt jeweils zum Wintersemester. Bitte informieren Sie sich unter www.embs.eu über die Bewerbungsfrist für das laufende Jahr.

Opening of a 3rd Call for Applications – European Candidates Only (A.Y. 2026-2027)

The EMBS Consortium is pleased to announce the opening of an extraordinary Third Call for Applications, reserved exclusively for European citizens wishing to enroll in the European Master in Business Studies (EMBS) for the Academic Year 2026-2027. 

The Admission Board has approved a fast-track selection window to allocate the remaining available EU positions. 

  • Application Deadline: June 30th, 2026 – 12:00 noon (CEST)
  • Target Audience: European applicants only (Please note: this call is not open to Non-European citizens due to visa processing timelines).
  • Selection Process: Fast-track evaluations will take place immediately after the deadline, with final outcomes communicated by early July 2026. 

Admission Requirements: Candidates must satisfy all standard entry requirements as outlined in the official Call for Admission (see Art. 5 for further details), including: 

  • A valid Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, or related fields.
  • Certified B2 level proficiency in English covering all four core skills (Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing).

Call for EMBS 20 2026-2027

  • Every year the EMBS Admission Board admits to the EMBS a limited number of students coming from European and Non-European countries. The target number of students is between 20 and 30 representing 3 or more nationalities.
  • The official length of the EMBS programme is four semesters, one in each of the participating universities. Students receive a total of 120 ECTS credits including the company project, the master thesis module (15 ECTS credits) allocated to the 3rd semester and the internship module (10 ECTS) to be done at the end of the 4th semester. The EMBS programme begins each winter semester in September at the Università degli Studi di Trento (Italy). The second semester is held at the Université Savoie Mont Blanc in Annecy (France), followed by the third semester at the Universität Kassel (Germany), and the fourth semester at the Universidad de León (Spain). The official language of the EMBS programme is English both for teaching and exams.
  • Please note that there is only one intake per year.
  • The EMBS is a consecutive full-time Master's degree programme, i.e. a degree that is gained after completing a bachelor’s programme. It is aimed to advance and deepen the knowledge and skills acquired during the bachelor’s programme. The EMBS is not an MBA programme aimed at professionals or at part-time students. Call for admission up to 40 students (Non-EU and EU) to the Joint degree European Master in Business Studies (EMBS)

Academic Year 2024-2025

  • Every year the EMBS Admission Board admits to the EMBS a limited number of students coming from European and Non-EU countries . The EMBS may not be operational with less than 15 students with a minimum of 3 different nationalities. The target number of students should be between 20 and 40  representing 3 or more nationalities.
  • The official length of the EMBS programme is four semesters, one in each of the participating universities. Students gain a total of 120 ECTS credits including the company project, the master thesis module (15 ECTS credits) allocated to the 3rd semester and the internship module (10 ECTS) to be done at the end of the 4th semester.
  • The EMBS starts each winter semester in September at the Università degli Studi di Trento (Italy). The 2nd semester is run at the Université Savoie Mont Blanc in Annecy (France), the 3rd semester at the Universität Kassel (Germany) and the 4th semester at the Universidad de León (Spain).
  • The official language of the EMBS programme is English both for teaching and exams.
