Physics seminar

On this page you can register for the course "Quid si sic? Instruments of a Renewed Astronomy 1550 - 1800", which you can attend as a "Physics Seminar". The seminar will be led by Dr. Karsten Gaulke, head of the Astronomisch-Physikalisches Kabinett:

In the seminar we will look at the history of astronomical instruments. We will analyze and discuss original texts from the period, which you will read in preparation for the sessions. The topics of the seminar are directly related to the exhibits of the Astronomisch-Physikalisches Kabinett. Proof of performance will be provided in the form of a presentation (45 minutes). The seminar is open to student teachers of physics and students on the BA Physics course.

The seminar can serve as a basis for exam papers with topics related to museum didactics or astronomy.
