Maximal Regularity Methods in Mathematical Fluid Mechanics

Maximal Lp-regularity methods are a very flexible and powerful tool for the analysis of PDEs in mathematical fluid mechanics. The aim of this scientific network is to bring together younger researchers in this field, including researchers from Japan, Germany, and other European countries, to enlarge the scope of these methods. Mainly, we focus on three very concrete directions: rough coefficients and rough domains, geophysical flows, and stochastic fluid dynamics. In these areas maximal regularity methods should be advanced to tackle relevant applications.

This project is funded by German Science Foundation (DFG) as Project number 536630683, see gepris.dfg.de/gepris/projekt/536630683
