Dr. Thomas Izgin

Dr. Thomas Izgin is a researcher at the Institute of Mathematics at the University of Kassel. His work focuses on structure-preserving numerical methods for ordinary and partial differential equations. In particular, he has researched nonlinear time integration methods that are unconditionally positive, their accuracy, and stability.

He is currently working on positivity-preserving relaxation techniques and residual distribution schemes.
