Understanding farm animal behavior: Addressing animal welfare issues

On behalf of the Hessian Ministry for the Environment, Climate Protection, Agriculture and Consumer Protection, State Commissioner for Animal Welfare Affairs (funded by the Hesse Eco Action Plan), we have compiled videos and further links on animal welfare problems in the three animal species chicken, cattle and pigs. They provide background information on behavioral disorders, normal behavior and husbandry-related restrictions.
