Requirements specific to organic farming require innovative solutions.

Digitalization in agriculture is progressing, but efforts are often only geared towards conventional farms. In Germany, however, 13.5% of farms are already organic and the trend is rising. In organic farming, there is great potential for digitalization not only in increasing productivity, but also in other aspects such as animal welfare, nature conservation and quality monitoring, e.g. in forage production, in line with the multifunctional orientation of this farming method.
