Module Type:
Elective-requiredmodule—consisting of “Fundamentals of Geotechnical Engineering: Supplementary Topics” and the “Geotechnical Engineering Seminar.”
This course is taught exclusively in German.

Course Content:
Project on a specific construction project (determination of characteristic soil parameters, development of a foundation and shoring concept, settlement analysis, shoring statics); Performing geotechnical calculations using computer software; preparing a presentation on a selected topic in foundation engineering.
