Intended learning outcomes

The module "Structural Maintenance of Traffic Routes" is intended to provide students with in-depth knowledge of the subject of building in existing structures and the structural maintenance of traffic routes. The main focus is on the methods of condition assessment and evaluation, the effectiveness of existing technologies for repair, maintenance and renewal, as well as criteria for their selection using pavement management systems and life cycle analysis tools.
In a homework exercise, the basics learned in the lecture are to be put into practice by means of an independently conducted condition assessment and evaluation as well as the development of a maintenance concept.
