Purposes of the processing
Your personal data will be processed in order to carry out the research project "Mobil zum Ziel" of the University of Kassel. Information on this can be found in the description of the research project(https://www.uni-kassel.de/go/mobilzumziel).
The pseudonymized data is evaluated scientifically. The aim is not to evaluate your personal data, but to make statements that are as generally valid as possible (e.g. "In an average week, 40% of all people over the age of 30 cover a total distance of over 200 km."). In the course of the research project, we, the Department of Transport Planning and Transportation Systems at the University of Kassel, are working with two contractors (O.trend GmbH and MotionTag GmbH; see below for contact details). Both contractors collect data on our behalf, O.trend via the online survey and MotionTag via the app.

If you have opted to use the MotionTag app to collect your travel data, MotionTag will first process your personal data on its own servers and then forward it to the University of Kassel as soon as possible. Duration of storage of personal data/criteria for determining the duration
The personal data must be stored by us until it has fulfilled its purpose and can be deleted. We will carry out this deletion as soon as possible, at the latest by the end of the research project, probably by the end of 2026. Your contact data will be deleted from O.trend after your reward has been paid out. Anonymized data will be archived in accordance with the rules of good scientific practice.
