Building Construction I

The aim of the sub-module is to understand the design and construction of buildings as a holistic task. To this end, basic knowledge of building construction is taught in lectures, exercises and tutorials. In order to continuously repeat and consolidate what has been learned, learning assessments are carried out and homework is completed.

Building Construction I deals in particular with the function, structure and joining of the essential structural elements of buildings.
