Young Researchers Seminar

September 3–4, 2026 | University of Kassel, Germany Hosted by the Research Group on Resource Management and Solid Waste Engineering

After the inspiring 5th edition held in Straubing in 2025, the 6th Young Researchers Seminar on Sustainable Material Cycles (YRS 2026) will take place at the University of Kassel on September 3–4, 2026.

The seminar offers a platform for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers working in the field of sustainable use of materials to present their ongoing research, exchange ideas, and connect with peers in an open and supportive setting.

YRS 2026 aims to foster interdisciplinary discussions on methods and case studies from industrial ecology, life cycle assessment, circular economy, resource management, and related fields. Participants are invited to share their work in oral or poster presentations and engage in interactive discussions.
