CELA coordinates the University of Kassel’s Latin America-related activities and promotes interdisciplinary collaboration in research and teaching. Its goal is to analyze social, political, and cultural developments in Latin America from various perspectives and to intensify international exchange. Through collaborations with partner institutions in Latin America and Europe, CELA creates a dynamic network for scholarly dialogue, joint projects, and academic mobility.

Dear Sir or Madam,
We would like to draw your attention to an internship opportunity at our Konrad Adenauer Foundation office in San José, Costa Rica, and would appreciate it if you could forward this information to interested students.
The internship offers the opportunity to gain insight into the work of a political foundation in an international context and to gain practical experience in the areas of democracy promotion, civic participation, the rule of law, and international cooperation. Interns will primarily support the office in preparing and conducting events, conducting research on political and social issues, and providing substantive and administrative support for project work.
This opportunity is particularly aimed at students of political science, social sciences, economics, law, journalism, and media and communication studies. Excellent written and spoken Spanish skills are required.
The recommended duration of the internship is three months. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
