Why a Podcast Series?

Right from the start of the first funding phase of the DFG Research Group “Multiple Competition in the Higher Education System,” it was clear that the results of the individual research projects should reach an audience beyond a narrow circle of experts. So the DFG Research Group decided to produce a five-part podcast series. They were able to secure the experienced science journalist Dr. Jan-Martin Wiarda as the host.

In each podcast episode, Wiarda speaks with researchers from the DFG research group and other experts about the topic of “Multiple Competition in Higher Education.” His guests comment on the research findings, contextualize them, and pose further thought-provoking questions about the insights gained that extend beyond the narrower disciplinary context. Each individual podcast episode is dedicated to a specific topic.

All conversations were conducted in German and can be listened to on the Podigee platform.
