Since August 2025, Anna Katharina Korn has been a research assistant in the project "State and non-state universities as providers of hybrid study formats in the health and nursing professions" under the direction of Prof. Dr. Bettina Langfeldt.

Anna Katharina studied sociology at Friedrich Schiller University Jena and completed her Master's degree in sociology and social research at Philipps University Marburg - both with a focus on the sociology of work.

One focus of her research is on care relationships; in her doctoral project, she is looking at care work in the gig economy and examining how platform-based working models are changing paid care work and employment relationships in this sector.
