Julia Brose

Julia Brose has been working as a researcher at INCHER since October 2022. She was involved in the project “Knowledge transfer to and from quality management of teaching & learning at universities (WiaQM)”. Since April 2026 Julia has been involved in the project "Focus on counseling: Improving the fit of counseling services and structures for neurodivergent and mentally impaired students (HoBeFo)".

Since her studies in sociology and diversity studies at the University of Göttingen, her research interests lie in the fields of higher education research, sociological inequality research, qualitative content analysis, but also mixed methods approaches. Previously, she worked as a student assistant at the German Center for Higher Education Research in Hannover and at the Institute for Ethics and History of Medicine in Göttingen. There she dealt with quantitative research data as well as qualitative research and data analysis.

In addition to her research work, Julia also served as the Equal Opportunity Officer at INCHER from 2022 to 2025.
