HoBeFo

On January 1, 2026, the new BMFTR joint project of INCHER and the University of Hildesheim will start with the title "Focus on counseling: Improving the fit of counseling services and structures for neurodivergent and mentally impaired students (HoBeFo)".

The part of the project (HoBeFoX) carried out in Kassel under the direction of Prof. Dr. Bettina Langfeldt will focus on the experts ' perspective on improving the fit of counseling services and structures for neurodivergent and mentally impaired students, while the part of the project based at the University of Hildesheim (HoBeFoS) will look at the students' perspective on the topic.

The joint project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) as part of the funding priority "Science and Higher Education Research" (WiHo). Applied research project on the mental health of students (Module C).

The project takes place in cooperation with the Network and Service Center for Inclusive Studying in Lower Saxony (NESIS) and the Coordination Office for Inclusive Universities in Hesse. Many other collaborations have been initiated.
