Doctoral Seminar 2026

• Three-day doctoral seminar with Jason Thatcher on September 02., 03., and 04., 2026.

• This seminar focuses on two key aspects of publishing in top journals:
  1. Using generative AI to support academic writing
  2. Crafting compelling research hooks and positioning your work for high-impact publication
• The core content will be delivered in two plenary sessions on September 02. and 03.
• Selected students will also have the opportunity to present their research and receive individual feedback during paper coaching sessions with the speaker.
• On September 02., a networking event will take place right after the plenary session at the same location (ITeG), bringing together the speaker and all participants.

Target Group

• The input sessions are open to all graduates of the faculties associated with the ITeG (FB 05, 07, 15, 16).
• The event is primarily intended for young scientists from Kassel.
