Fi­nan­ce Work­shop II in Nia­mey

The Pro-RUWA Finance administration workshop II and future activity planning from February 28th to Mar 1st 2022 at Abdou Moumouni University (UAM), Niamey/Niger

Pro-RUWA wants to strengthen and streamlining administrative-financial processes at international standards to increase visibility and transparency of its partners and hence to achieve competitiveness across higher education institutions of West Africa. Regular meetings with respective personal and PIs are thus embedded to analyse management structures and administration process of third-party funding schemes analysed.

A hybrid event, with inputs from colleagues of the International Center for Development and Decent Work (ICDD) through zoom conferences.

This was the agenda:

• Synthesis and exchange on the reporting period 2021
• Analysis of existing administrative procedures, involve also better your experiences and problems partners encountered during the procurement/accounting in 2021 until recently
• an assessment of further qualification needs
• further develop individual partner strategies to streamline process for future procurement and overall activities
• Session on workshop planning
