Project Overview

The SASSCAL Graduate School Programm (SGSP) AFSLM supports the establishment of a regional graduate school to promote advanced academic training and applied research in sustainable land management.

The project aims to

• strengthen regional expertise in agriculture, food security, and land use.
• foster South–South–North collaboration across African and German research institutions.
• build the next generation of researchers equipped to tackle agricultural and environmental challenges in Africa and beyond.
• be supplmented by international research and scholarship programmes, including DAAD and KAAD.
