Language Courses

German as a Foreign Language (40 hours)

Covered by the program fee.

Studying German in Germany and practicing your skills in everyday life is a very effective way to improve your German.

We offer German language classes at three different levels - depending on the number of participants and their German language skills. Students will be assigned to the level that best fits their competence.

Our language courses are designed to fit the criteria of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (European Language Portfolio). During ISU, we will offer courses at the following levels: A1, B1 und C1. The description explains which competencies you will have AFTER the course [» more Information].

Studying in small groups, ISU students usually highly appreciate the friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the language courses.
The applied teaching and learning methods are based on a progressive and innovative concept which includes, for example, team work or CALL (computer-aided language learning), etc.

Our experienced teachers are carefully selected. They are specially qualified for teaching German as a foreign language.
