Relating to the overall topic of “New Perspectives for a Globalized World: Environmental and Cultural Dimensions,” the ISU Kassel 2009 offers the following seminars: 

Environmental Engineering:

Integrative Environmental Studies:

• Integrative Environmental Studies (in English)

Civil Engineering:

• Introduction to Earthquake Engineering (in English)
  

Interactive German Studies & Cultural Studies:

• German History and Politics of the 20th Century (in English)
• Deutsche Geschichte und Politik im 20. Jahrhundert (in German)
• Intercultural Communication (in English)
• German Fairy Tales (in English)

Intensive German Language Courses:

• offered in different levels (40 contact hours)

All seminars will be taught by high profile faculty members from the respective disciplines listed above. Classes meet daily in the mornings or afternoons. Each seminar consists of 20 contact hours and earns 3 credit points.

You can participate in up to 2 seminars and the German Language Course. Tuition includes two seminars of your choice and the German language course.
