Hessian Competence Center for High Performance Computing (HKHLR)

The University of Kassel is a member of the Hessian Competence Center for High Performance Computing (HKHLR).

The primary goal of the competence center is to support users throughout Hesse in the basic operation of the Hessian clusters as well as in the efficiency analysis and performance improvement of their software.

The HKHLR has been coordinating the cooperation between the individual locations in Darmstadt, Frankfurt, Giessen, Kassel and Marburg since 2014 and promotes the optimization of the software on the Hessian high-performance computers through user training, for example.

The Hessian Ministry of Science and Art supported the founding of the HKHLR.
