SciFlow is a cloud-based writing platform that enables collaborative work on scientific texts. It offers automatic formatting according to journal specifications (>5000 templates), supports numerous citation styles and facilitates team collaboration.

Alternatively, external services such as Overleaf, Google Docs and Authorea can be used. Collaborative editing of texts is also made possible by the next.hessenbox.

• A team of students writes a seminar paper together and uses SciFlow to insert references and automatically format the document in the desired citation style.
• A scientist writes an article in SciFlow and exports it according to the specifications of the desired journal.
