VOXR (live feedback / interaction platform)

VOXR supports interactive formats in courses, workshops, conferences and hybrid meetings. It enables simple and data protection-compliant audience participation via digital end devices.

Suitable for lecturers, staff and event organizers who want to integrate interactive elements such as surveys, Q&A sessions or feedback rounds into their face-to-face, online or hybrid formats.

It is provided by the IT Service Center.

VOXR is a browser-based tool for live communication. It offers various participation formats, including surveys, word clouds, prioritization and structured feedback. The tool works directly via a link without the need to install an app.

• Ask questions and conduct polls: Organizers can ask participants questions or conduct surveys and polls in digital form.

• Brainstorming: In this function, participants can enter whole sentences as answers. These answers are then analysed by VOXR and converted into a word cloud that visualizes the most common topics and terms.

• In a lecture, teachers use VOXR for intermediate questions to check understanding or stimulate discussion.
• In an employee workshop, open questions are collected and answered in an organized manner using the Q&A function.

VOXR is web-based and runs on all common devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops) with internet access. No app installation is necessary.

VOXR is available centrally via a campus license. Access data for use can be found on the following VOXR website set up for the University of Kassel.

No training courses are currently offered.

VOXR is GDPR compliant. No personal data is stored. It is used anonymously and without registration by participants.

Use is subject to a campus license. Passing on access data to external parties is not permitted.
