Conference WLAN

If you are planning a larger event with external guests (from approx. 10 external participants), it is possible to apply for a separate conference WLAN. This will then be broadcast in parallel to eduroam at all university locations for the desired period and can be accessed via a separate password/QR code.

To apply, please use our e-mail address TagungsWLAN[at]uni-kassel[dot]de. Please state the desired display name of the WLAN (SSID) and enter it in the subject line of the e-mail, as this will make processing easier. Please note that umlauts from the German language cannot be part of the SSID. You will also need to specify the building or venue.

Please apply for the conference WLAN 10 days in advance. You will then receive the data approx. 4-5 days before your event.
