Measurement

The Measurement and Control Research Group maintains a remote measurement laboratory and a laboratory for thermographic measurements. Several remote measurement systems (thermographic cameras, visual cameras, depth cameras, IR laser-based remote gas measurement system, laser scanner, ultrasonic probes) and several mobile robot systems as carrier platforms are available. Furthermore, calibration and auxiliary equipment such as blackbody radiators, ultrasonic reference probes and gas leak simulators are available.

For practical courses in measurement technology, the reseach group has various small experimental setups, each of which is available several times, e.g. for temperature measurement and strain gauge measurement. There are also setups for the multi-part experiment infrared thermography.
