Robot systems

The Measurement and Control Research Group has various robotic systems that are used in student projects and in the µPlant model factory.

 

Cobot

Model: UFactory XArm 6 with gripper

Digital shadow"UFactory Studio" for programming and testing the program (can be made available to students)

The cobot is extended with two RGB cameras:

  • Recognition of objects with OpenCV/Python 3
  • Grasping and moving objects

Programming: UFactory Studio with Python 3 - API

Mobile robots

Various robots of the models: TurtleBot 2, TurtleBot 3 and TurtleBot 4

equipped with RGB and depth camera and lidar

Programming: Robot Operating System ROS1 and ROS2 with Python 3

Model: ABB IRB 140 with IRC 5 Compact controller

6-axis articulated arm robot

Digital shadow: ABB RobotStudio

Programming: manually via FlexPendant or via ABB RobotStudio software
