A thermal stability of ca. 0.1 K is essential for our nanomechanical investigations in order to minimize thermal drift. Our laboratory is equipped with a TREF precision air conditioning unit from HiRef, which guarantees these constant conditions and precise humidity.

Status since November 2025: Due to technical defects in the system and delayed repairs by the manufacturer, the laboratory climate does not currently meet our strict metrological standards. We are working hard to find a solution to restore full measurement precision in the near future.
