Welcome to the website of the Industry-Promotion-Group

The Industry-Promotion-Group "Innovative Lightweight Casting" was founded by Prof. Fehlbier, Head of the Foundry Technology Department at the University of Kassel, on October 25, 2013. Its aim is to promote cooperation between the university and industry in the areas of research, teaching and equipment.
In particular, it aims to:

• Strengthen cooperation between the members
• work on joint overarching research projects
• promote the exchange of information and interests
• establish excellent support for young talent
• and to establish a state-of-the-art casting technology center at the University of Kassel.
