ITeG - What's up?

Abstract: The Interdisciplinary Research Center for Information System Design (ITeG) at the University of Kassel focuses on a socio-technical viewpoint for the design of information technology. The general goal is to facilitate the design of socially embedded IT systems that not only satisfy the functional requirements, but also are acceptable from a normative perspective and accepted from a user perspective. In the presentation I will give a brief overview of the current status of ITeG. Then two rather large and fundamental interdisciplinary research areas will be presented that shall involve all ITeG members and shape the future research directions of ITeG.
