E-mail with declaration of consent for EvaSys account creation

If you are interested in developing your own teaching evaluation form and would like to use the toolbox, please first send an e-mail to Mr. Vogel expressing your interest. In addition, we require a signed declaration of consent to create an account in the EvaSys software with your e-mail address. This software is provided by the University of Kassel for evaluation purposes.

Training participation (recommended)

To ensure that the teaching evaluation runs smoothly with the toolbox, we recommend that you take part in a 30-minute training session with Mr. Vogel. These are offered as required and by personal arrangement.

If you are unable to attend a training course, you can also use the toolbox by following the written instructions in the handbook.

Review of manual and selection of relevant constructs

In the handbook you will find all available constructs for teaching evaluation with the toolbox. You should look through this offer and select the constructs or questions that you need to further develop your teaching.

Creating questionnaires and surveys with EvaSys

The toolbox is integrated in EvaSys. Here you will find all constructs and items from the manual in the question library. The handbook and toolbox follow the same structure. The constructs are organized according to the areas of prerequisites, offer , use and learning outcome, based on an offer-use model. You can transfer the constructs you have selected to your questionnaire by double-clicking or drag-and-drop. You also have the option of formulating your own questions and adding to existing ones.

After creating the questionnaire, you can generate a link or a QR code that leads directly to the online survey with just a few clicks.

Conducting the survey

You can forward the link generated in the previous step to your students by email or via Moodle so that they can complete the survey. Alternatively, you can include the QR code in your slides so that students can complete the teaching evaluation directly during the course.

Analysis and use of the evaluation data

Retrieving automated feedback and raw data

During the implementation, you have direct access to the feedback via EvaSys. After completing the survey, you can download automated feedback and the raw data from your teaching evaluation.

Evaluation of feedback and raw data

In the last step, you now have the option of evaluating your data yourself, for example by calculating correlations, determining differences or analyzing developments.

Consent to data processing

In order to create an EvaSys account, we require a signed declaration of consent. You can download it here.
