Vita  (Roman Beilharz)

Roman Beilharz started his career on the drum set and accompanied soloists of international standing such as Albert Mangelsdorff, Bill Ramsey, Costa Cordalis and Randy Brecker already as a minor. After completing his studies at the Cologne University of Music, he increasingly shifted his work focus to the composition and production of TV, film and theater music (WDR Die Maus, Bonn Opera, Wiesbaden State Theater, Shakespeare Company Bremen and many more).

Since 1995, Beilharz's recording studio  UVASONAR Media has produced a number of CD productions in a wide variety of popular styles. From 2005 on, Beilharz added the scenic-visual level to his activities as a drummer, music producer and composer and has since realized various film projects and music videos. Due to his more than 30 years of experience as a teacher; since 2010 at the Institute of Music at the University of Kassel as well as in 2015 at the HfMDK Frankfurt a.M. (drum set major, jazz/pop harmony teaching, songwriting, film music writing, etc.), he has recently produced an increasing number of CDs, DVDs and web videos for school book publishers such as Schott and Helbling.

With his wide-ranging knowledge and experience as a multi-instrumentalist, composer, sound engineer and media producer, Roman Beilharz personifies stylistic and media crossover like no other.
