My research interests focus on understanding the neural underpinnings of neurodevelopmental disorders and the cognitive rehabilitation of children affected by these disorders. I have previously worked on brain networks connectivity in individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), exploring how altered brain networks relate to cognitive functioning. I examine attention, working memory, and their interactions, particularly in the context of ADHD and foreign language acquisition in diverse multilingual contexts. My work aims to better understand how attention deficits do not hinder but rather interact with cognitive functions like working memory during language learning. I hope my research will contribute to developing more effective interventions for individuals with learning and attention challenges.
