Information about the project

The seminar "New Media and Text Design in the Digital Network", on which this project was based, dealt with the question of what new communicative possibilities and forms the Internet creates for social interaction. The aim was also for the seminar participants to work together to create content for digital offerings. 

The topic and content of the online presence were decided jointly by the seminar group. The group also discussed on which platform and in which form the content should be presented. A blog would be the desired form, but in terms of short term and functionality, the possibility of finding a place on the institute's website presented itself. After consultation with the institute management, this step was taken.  

It is clear that we make no claim to completeness here as far as information about studies is concerned. Of course, the informative contents refer to student experiences and opinions, so they cannot replace the authoritative institutional data. We see it as a merit, if local contents facilitate the insight into study offers and stimulate to think along. 

An interactive function on the university pages is only possible to a limited extent, if also our contents could be further developed and enriched just by use to .

At this point we can express our hope that this first step might find further interested parties among the lecturers and students, and that the contents would be extended or updated. 

The contents were created by a total of 21 seminar participants and proofread by each other. This work resulted in a text material of over 50 pages. 

The implementation on the website is owed to the student assistant of the Institute of German Studies, who has also been involved in the compilation of the content and the design. Last but not least, we would like to thank the director of the institute, Prof. Dr. Vilmos Ágel, who supported this project and also reviewed the contents .
